Butter ۳/۴ cup (120 gr.)
Icing sugar ۱/۲ cup (58 gr.)
Egg yolk ۱(۲۰ gr.)
Cardamom (powdered) ۱/۲ tsp. (1/5 gr.)
Milk ۱/۲ cup (80 ml.)
Flour ۳ cups (315 gr.)
South dates As needed
Almond shreds As needed
Pistachio shreds As needed
Preheat oven to 350oF / 175oC.  Mix the butter and sugar with electric mixer until soft and smooth. Mix in yolk and cardamom until creamy and sticky. Stir in milk. Gradually add flour, knead the dough until smooth. Remove and discard the seeds. Put inside the almond shreds. Spread the dough with a rolling pin into fewer 5cm thick. Cut into squares small enough to put a date in the center. Then put the dates in the center of them, fold two corners of dough over dates, place a pistachio shred on them. Arrange on cookie sheet (greased the base with liquid oil). Cook in the middle rack of oven for 10 minutes until cooked and golden. Remove the tray, set aside to cool. Place in serving plate.
