Black- eyed peas (soaked) ½ cup (75 gr.)
Water ۴ cups (640 ml.)
Spinach (trimmed and diced) ۷۵۰ gr.
Frying oil As needed
Minced meat (mixture of lamb and veal) ۴۰۰ gr.
ground black pepper As needed
Salt As needed
Onion (grated) ۱(۱۴۰ gr.)
Dried whey As needed
Fried onion As needed
Fried mint As needed
Fried garlic As needed
۱٫Soak beans with water for 24 hours (change water for 2 to 3 times); drain. Place beans in medium saucepan with water, bring to boil, reduce heat to medium, cover. Set aside to cook for 1 hour and half. 
۲٫Stir spinach into hot oil in a pan, in batches. Add to beans with little salt and pepper. 
۳٫Combine meat with onion, salt and pepper; knead and shape into small meatballs; fry in hot oil. Add to above mixture at the end of cooking. Cover, let cook well. Serve fricassee topped with dried whey, fried mint, onion, and garlic.
